Prayers Without a Kneeler: Naked Anguish Before God

Prayers Without a Kneeler is a collection of poems about my relationship with Jesus. Its about a relationship that I wanted and at times didnt want. These poems are written not from within faith but from the outside. They are about trying to discipline my ego to allow my soul to open the grace that Jesus freely gives but is so frightening. This relationship is often frightening because Jesus demands ones unconditional love. And thats difficult for me because I am a human deeply embedded in the world. I often dont want to be but too often I am. You dear reader may have the same problem. If so I hope these poems are of some comfort for you on your spiritual journey.
