Praying the Scriptures

<p>A collection of Scripture passages that have been compiled for a daily prayerbook. Pray the Scriptures daily memorize the Word and let the Bible guide your prayer time.</p><p>From the Editor</p><p>Growing up using a Jewish prayer book for liturgy I wanted to find something that fit my Christian faith. I turned to the common book of prayer but found too much of it to be man-made and theologically off. I looked for something within the Baptist denomination but everything I could find was based on the Common Book of Prayer. I was tired of praying man-made prayer when the Word of God was available. Yet no one had put together a prayer book that was simply Scripture. </p><p>I put together several Scripture passages for our Church to recite together. I continued to compile Scripture and finally decided to make it into a full daily prayer book. There are no prayers included that are not taken directly from Scripture. </p><p>Since I celebrate a seventh-day Sabbath and find Christ to be the focus of the biblical festivals I have included services for these events. Those who hold to a Sunday Sabbath will be able to use the Sabbath service for their worship time. Those who celebrate Easter will be able to use the Passover liturgy for their service etc. </p><p>It is my hope that those who use this prayer book will find it enjoyable and edifying as they dive deeper into God's Word. </p><p><br></p>
