Pre-Carnival Festivities as a Tourist Attraction in João Pessoa - PB

This exploratory descriptive participatory and plural methodological research investigates the particularities of the Carnival Previews in João Pessoa Paraíba understood as a festival capable of mobilizing a large flow of people and generating income the result of cultural production a symbol of the Pessoa Carnival. In this context this paper analyzes the importance of the Folia de Rua project in valuing the local culture and its possible viability as a locally-based tourist attraction.
