Pre-ejaculatory fluid and the effectiveness of coitus interruptus

There is a myth that the Coitus Interruptus contraceptive method is ineffective because of the presence of spermatozoa in the pre-ejaculatory fluid. This discourse is repeated and reproduced uncritically since there is no strong scientific evidence to prove this relationship. Therefore this paper analyses pre-ejaculatory fluids to determine their relationship with the efficacy of the Coitus Interruptus contraceptive method.
