E. F. Hallock All the Promises There are those who liken Edgar F. Preacher Hallock to David Brainerd or George Mueller of Bristol. With genuine humility Preacher would be the very last to make such comparisons. History will ultimately judge his greatness and his saintliness. But in his vibrantly simple life lived out in the red dust of Oklahoma there is the outline dimly seen of a vast heritage of faith stemming from a unique person living a life of unique obedience. For most of his adult life E.F. Hallock served as pastor of First Baptist Church Norman Oklahoma. After forty-six years of service to that congregation he retired in 1969 and became Pastor Emeritus. He lived quietly with his life Vera in a friendly white house on South Ponca in Norman Oklahoma. But Preacher Hallocks ministry goes on even after his death in 1978.
