Preaching Through The Pain

In the midst of this relentless reality stands a principal of great merit. The principal is: God uses pain to empower his preachers. If the preacher can endure the pain the preacher will be endued with power. Experience will eventually teach a faithful preacher that pain is just part of the process. Even our precious Lord and Master was not exempt from the pain of preaching. Even Jesus endured the pain of persecution temptation hunger and thirst. He endured the pain of desertion denial and betrayal. Yet he experienced authority power miracles signs and wonders and resurrection glory. Yes there is pain in preaching this gospel but there is an abounding grace provided by God to endure it.
