This book tells about a study done in order to evaluate the role of preincisional and intraperitoneal use of local anaesthetic in laparoscopic cholecystectomy for postoperative pain relief. The study was consisted of three groups of patients; one group with preincisional and intraperitoneal local anaesthetic use the second group with intraperitoneal use only and the third group is the control group. The results recommended the preincisional and intraperitoneal use of lical anaesthetic as a routine procedure during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
