Preparation and Application of Transition Metal Carbides Nanomaterials

Synthetic and characteristic aspects of some transition metal carbides nanomaterials and their applications including cemented carbides and grinding tools are within the scope of this book. These transition metal carbides nanomaterials involve vanadium carbide chromium carbide and their composites. Furthermore these carbides nanomaterials have been successfully synthesized by various methods including carbothermal reduction mechanical alloying precursor carbonization and microwave heating.
