Preparation of pediatric patients for treatment with proton beam therapy

Proton beam therapy is considered to reduce the toxicity for pediatric patients. However many pediatric patients need anesthesia and longer occupancy time of treatment room. This book shows the knack of preparation base on the experience of two major pediatric radiation oncologist in Japan. This book makes it possible to perform proton beam therapy more smoothly. In the result the burden on patients decreased and treatable patients increased.
