<p>Preston the Preschooler as told by Marianna is a delightful book that will bring meaning and excitement to the preschool classroom. The story begins with Preston arriving to school with his mom and he is crying because he wants to stay with his mother. He doesn't want to go to school. Even though he begins his day sad about his mother leaving him Preston quickly gets involved in the day's routines and activities. His teacher Senorita Garcia is loving and supportive of Preston and has a calming effect on him.</p><p></p><p>Through extended conversations and activities Preston the Preschooler supports and promotes motivation curiosity and problem-solving (approaches to learning); social and emotional; language; physical; and cognitive early learning and development.
