Prevalence of types of cancers in patients of Visakhapatnam region

The epidemiological study on the prevalence of different types of cancers within urban and rural ares of Visakhapatnam district Andhra Pradesh India had been carried out by final year B.Pharm students of Andhra University in 2015 as a part of their curriculum under the guidance of Dr. K. Eswar Kumar and Dr. Swathi Putta. This study provided the useful information on the spread of cancer. Using this study different preventive measures were taken and awareness can be created among the general public in order to prevent the spread of the cancers. The information provided in the book will also be useful for the physicians for early diagnosis and to choose the therapeutic options.
