Prevalence of UTI in Febrile Children under 2 Years

Do not give up. Always there is another choice. Urine analysis must be done for every child under 2 years of age who complains of febrile illness because it is prevalent in that age. Try to promote good hygiene and breastfeeding in boys and girls. But do not forget the circumcision in boys plays a role in decreasing prevalence of UTI in children under 2 years of age. Follow up of patient by pediatrician and family of the child with UTI is more important.
