Pride and His Prisoners

In Pride and His Prisoners the story revolves around the allegorical figure of Pride who captures and imprisons his victims metaphorically representing the way pride enslaves individuals distorting their perceptions and leading them to make harmful decisions. The story follows a group of characters who each struggle with their own pride and must learn to overcome it in order to achieve true freedom and spiritual growth. As with many of A.L.O.E.'s works the novel conveys strong Christian messages highlighting the dangers of pride and the virtues of humility selflessness and faith.
