PRIMER AÑO DE CÁLCULO

<p><em>Autobiografía</em>: El <strong>Dr. Clement E. Falbo</strong> es Profesor Emérito de Matemáticas en la Universidad Estatal de Sonoma donde enseñó durante 35 años. Es autor de varios artículos en revistas de matemáticas incluyendo el ampliamente leído La Proporcion Aurea: un Punto de Vista Contario en el College Mathematics Journal (2005). Su asticulo Teoremas Casi de Goldbach en The Mathematical Gazette (2021).</p><p>Además de este libro de cálculo ha escrito otros tres libros sobre matemáticas: Matematicas Finas Aplicadas en Wadsworth (1977) Odisea Matematica 2000 en Stipes Publishing (1994) y Hitos Matematicos en Reading Glass Books (2023).</p><p>En 1999 él y su esposa Jean Ann Falbo una bióloga sirvieron en el Cuerpo de Paz de los Estados Unidos en la nación africana de Zimbabue. Juntos enseñaron matemáticas y ciencias a estudiantes africanos de secundaria. Tiene tres hijos seis nietos y cinco bisnietos.</p><p><strong>Dr. Clement E. Falbo</strong> is a mathematics Professor Emeritus at Sonoma State University where he taught for 35 years. He is the author of several journal articles in mathematics including the widely read The Golden Ratio-A Contrary Viewpoint in the College Mathematics Journal (2005). His article Almost Goldbach Theorems in The Mathematical Gazette (2021) is also popular.</p><p>In addition to this calculus book he has written three other books on mathematics: Finite Mathematics Applied (Wadsworth 1977) Math Odyssey 2000 (Stipes Publishing 1994) and Mathematical Milestones (Reading Glass Books 2023).</p><p>In 1999 he and his wife Jean Ann Falbo a biologist served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the African nation of Zimbabwe. Together they taught African High school students mathematics and science. He has three sons six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.</p><p></p>
