She grows up amid war and loss a smart stubborn and quick-tempered girl who is determined to succeed to the throne of a restored kingdom. She has made a promise to her mother that she would always do her best and she intends to be true to her word. Above all else however she wants revenge.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Achieving any of her goals seems unlikely as obstacles are piled one after another in front of her. Armies fail castles fall and erstwhile allies betray. She makes plenty of mistakes as well some silly and childish others grown-up and deadly. She must learn from her errors fast enough to survive. While she does have friends and finds allies in strange places there are many who see her as nothing more than a pawn in their own plays for power. The odds are not in her favor. If she fails however humanity will face a bleak future on an unforgiving world.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>What is the future of a young princess with powerful lords and captains arrayed against her?
