Accounting is the art of measuring describing and interpreting economic activity. Accounting is a dynamic and growing field keeping pace with the rapidly changing business and economic environment. In Accounting Principles Board (APB)’s statement No.4 it is stated: “Generally accepted accounting principles encompass the conventions rules and procedures necessary to define accepted accounting practice at a particular time.”
