Environmental studies is a multidisciplinary field which studies human interaction with the environment. It brings out physical sciences life sciences commerce economics and social sciences together so as to solve contemporary environmental issues. The filed encompasses study in basic principles of ecology and environmental sciences. Environment or ecology means surroundings in which we are living and their interaction. Ecology the term derived from Greek word Oekologue is the part of environmental studies in which one studies about living organisms and non-living entities. It also deals with all those things on which we are directly or indirectly dependent for our survival whether it is living components like plants animals or non-living components like soil air and water.
