His research interests are in the fields of globalization and economic growth. He has published over 40 refereed journal articles and his first book entitled <i>International Trade and Economic Growth</i> was published by M.E. Sharpe in 2007. Dr. Lewer serves on the editorial board of several leading academic journals and has won numerous teaching awards.
