Principles of Teaching English Language

The instruction of English as a foreign language may occur in any country whether English speaking or not. Learners of EFL study English for different purposes: passing the examination career development pursuing their education etc. In most countries English as a foreign language is part of the educational curriculum. Teaching and learning has a very close relationship and one into another cannot be defined apart. Therefore Brown(1987p.6) defines teaching as “guiding and facilitating learning enabling learner to learn and setting the condition for learning.”
