PRIYAMVADA

‘Priyamvada’ chronicles the long and eventful life of an enigmatic vivacious decisive and intelligent woman and her gradual transformation to a helpless person with senile dementia. It also describes her complex relationship with a husband who never quite grew up and his constant craving for attention which lead to stressful and embarrassing situations for Priyamvada and her family. The wheel turns full circle and in the last decade and a half of her life. Her husband becomes the care giver and she the child. It is a poignant tale that lays bare her character with all its strengths and flaws and her decline.
