About The Book

Care for one...that's love but care for hundreds...that's nursing and hence each nurse need to learn properly to deliver a good care. Nursing education is evolving as healthcare becomes more complex. That’s because nursing is at the frontlines of changes to education designed to meet the needs of not only today’s patients but also systems of care. Problem-based learning (PBL) is essentially a learning system design that incorporates several educational strategies to optimize student-centered learning outcomes beyond just knowledge acquisition. Although there is much literature on PBL in nursing education there is little from the cultural perspective. Therefore this book discuss the effectiveness of PBL approach on learning outcome of nursing students in cultural context. From the clinical aspect Simulation-Based Learning (SBL) documented its effectiveness as a learning approach in any practical based training. The SBL has been impacted by the integration of emerging technologies such as Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs) which results in a more interactive environment. The current book exhibits an application of SBL by providing education to parents on fever management.
