Problematic use of toponyms in the DRC in the field of cartography

This book provides an overview of the use of toponyms in cartography to develop the updated map. The precise of this research is to develop by a dynamic of the cartography in the management of the names of places. Our study only identifies aspects related to the use of toponyms in the various avenues located in the municipalities of the city of Kinshasa. This study then leads us to apply the systems approach. This approach must be embodied and popularized with the local population. Because it is necessary to undertake studies following the systemic approach to achieve the update of the map. It seems necessary to us to undertake studies following the systemic approach to carry out the plan of certain neighborhoods. This approach will lead the users of the maps to follow a systematic toponymy assessment. In our approach we seek to enrich the use of toponymy across the city of Kinshasa and across the country as a whole.
