Process Based Special Needs

This book demonstrates the utility of process based practices to enrich the language skills namely reading writing and spelling skills of the learners in 4 Municipal mainstreamed schools across the suburbs of Mumbai. The learners were tested to probe their understanding of the 10 domains - Grapheme Phoneme Association Verbal Visual conditioning Verbal memory Listening Comprehension Cognitive Abilities Copy Writing Phonemic Synthesis Semantics Syntax Closure Receptive Language and Expressive Language. Implications for the appropriateness of the Process based practices for an effective education for the learners are discussed. Overall the findings support the superiority of this process based instruction.
