PROCUREMENT PRACTICES AND RESOURCES MANAGEMENT IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES

This study was inspired by the development in modern procurement practices; it focused on Procurement Practices and Resources Management. Private Universities in Lango Sub-region were particularly studied because of the increased challenge in Resources management that has compromised on quality and efficiency. The study objectives were to find out the level of compliance with procurement practices in private universities in lango sub-region to assess the level of resources management in private universities in lango sub-region and to establish the relationship between procurement practices and resources management in private universities in lango sub-region. The hypothesis was that “there is no relationship between procurement practices and resources management in private universities in lango sub-region”. The researcher rejected the null hypothesis and accepted the Alternative Hypothesis.
