Production Planning and Control

This research has as main objective the implementation of a real time control system of the whole production system of a company specialized in the production of equipment for earth and cargo handling. This project was initiated with the aim of reducing existing waste in the company''s production system namely overproduction repetition of operations and delays or failures in deliveries.It is also intended that the accounting and recording of stock entries and exits in the raw materials warehouse be properly carried out in a database to avoid errors in management the information be continuously updated (including surveys for production and stock entry of final products) and thus improve control.Lean production and principles the most common waste in all companies the different types of production systems are also addressed. Next and in order to allow waste reduction and production control various techniques such as 5S ABC or Pareto Analysis different production control techniques and the barcode control system will be addressed.
