Project management

A project is a short term effort we do to meet the organizations strategic objectives. It is how organizations implement changes. Besides project management is the discipline of planning organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. It is thus a carefully defined set of activities that use resources (money people materials energy space provisions communication motivation etc) to achieve the project goals and objectives. Therefore book addresses project management from a management perspective. It is arranged using the project life cycle as the primary organizational guideline.
