What better way to get to know Holy Spirit and experience his power than through scripture and prayer... hence this 31 daily reminder!

After hearing about the Holy Spirit who he is what he does his character (the fruit of the Spirit) Galatians 5:23 I wanted to experience him for myself. So I began to pray according to what I read in the bible and reminded God while in prayer of what was written (as if he didn't know) that's just a little humor for you serious folks LOL.

Now if any of you lack wisdom let him ask God who gives generously. James 1:5 and Ephesians 1: 17 Paul's prayer for the church at Ephesus: I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the glorious Father may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better.

As a young girl. I was always sensitive spiritually but had no real understanding of Holy Spirit. I just knew that I had spiritual discernment I'd have dreams and visions and sometimes I knew what people were going to say before they'd say it. I would see telephone numbers see addresses hear names in my dreams and at times see people and later meet them later.

(some call it dejavu). I call it Holy Spirit.

Prayer! I knew to pray because my mom taught us that we should pray before we left the house everyday. I truly didn't understand why at the time but as I matured I understood that she was teaching us to develop in prayer. At age 12 she gave me six scriptures to read an then she'd say: pray according to the scriptures. Those scriptures were: Psalm 23 Psalm 27 Psalm 91 Psalm 37 John 14 and John 27. I knew them by heart the good old King James version. I grew to like prayer because I was speaking to God it was just me and God. But I never liked praying when others could hear because I didn't pray like I heard the folks in church pray. Later I learned that I didn't have to and that all I had to do was talk to God with a sincere heart.

As I matured an experienced life I began to develop a relationship with God through his word prayer and Holy Spirit The promised Gift.
