Properties of Flash Evaporated Selenium-Bismuth Thin Films

Chalcogenide elements in group VI of the periodic table which include: Sulfur Selenium and Tellurium combine with other elements from groups IV V and VI to form Chalcogenides. These alloys especially Selenium-based are extensively used in the formation of photo cells solar cells rectifiers and in phase change memory devices. Doping enhances the materials' strength rigidity and improves its electrical optical and structural properties.
