Prophets of the New Testament

<p>Most readers of the Bible associate the prophets as messengers of God with the Old Testament. God sent them to encourage the Israelites to follow His commandments-or reprimand them when they didn't. And some of them made predictions about the future-that God would send a Savior-the <em>Messiah</em>-to save humanity from its sinfulness and usher in the Kingdom of God.</p><p></p><p>But what about the New Testament?
