Various approaches are available for patients with early localised prostate cancer ranging from prostatectomy and radiotherapy to hormonal treatment cryoablation and active surveillance. However most of these methods are accompanied by the risk of urological complications including overactive bladder incontinence and erectile dysfunction the severity of which also depends on the chosen therapy. This work aims to address an urgent clinical and scientific challenge: improving the effectiveness of prostate cancer treatment in patients with urological comorbidity by integrating adjuvant therapy into a comprehensive treatment strategy.
