Prostatic lesions like BEPPINCancer are common diseases of male of increasing age throughout the world.Association of tumour marker like PSASerum ZincGenetic mutation like BRCA1 & 2NAT2 gene etc are implicated in its etio-pathogenesis.Little research work is done in Bangladesh in these respects.The included four articles throw some light on baseline data of these parameters.Hopefully these will help other researchers in the field of prostatic lesion in any part of the world as a base line data.The published articles showed the importance of ratio of free/total PSA levelstatistically significant increasing serum Zinc association with BEPPIN and prostate cancer in Bangladeshi subjects.Also the mean PSA level in percentile in different age groups of Bangladeshi male which appears to be a bit lower than mentioned in reference books.Review article on NAT2 gene association with prostate cancer can help further fields of research on NAT2 gene association with prostate cancer.Overall findings of these will hopefully the researchers in prostate lesion in different parts of the World.
