Protecting Children 13+ is a Teen's Book for Preventing Sexual Abuse. It is a Read-To-Me Book. It is a part of a series of 12 books written to help orphaned and vulnerable children to cope. It is fiction made up and is set in Zonkizizwe and Katlehong South Africa. The story is narrated in South African English and the conversations are in Southern Sotho and Zulu. The English translation is in parenthesis. It is Christian material. The book may be read with the teen to teach sexual abuse prevention or to screen for possible sexual abuse. Child Abuse must be reported. The teen may read on his or her own as well. It can be read a chapter at a time and discussed. It features colorful illustrations directions on sexual abuse prevention and an HIV/AIDS Prevention in the appendix to educate the reader on HIV prevention. It is Christian material.
