Prostitution in Africa has evolved with urbanization and the rise of digital technologies creating new risks for vulnerable populations especially women and girls. The use of ICTs has expanded online sex work but also increased exposure to exploitation trafficking and digital abuse. This study calls for precautionary measures including stronger legal protections digital safety education public awareness campaigns and economic empowerment programs. A coordinated approach is essential to mitigate harm and protect those at risk in the digital era.
