Prototyping a Microcontrolled Fluorimeter for Chemical Analysis

About The Book

Photometric methods as the name suggests use light (photon) to measure something (metric). The main use of photometric methods is present in the quantification of certain samples of substances. Under the circumstances a project was aimed at the construction of a fluorimeter to perform quantitative analysis of the fluorescein present in commercial samples. A fluorimeter is a laboratory device used to measure fluorescence parameters. In theory fluorescence is based on the assumption that the photon when absorbed by the molecule of a substance excites its electrons making them jump to higher energy levels.
