Providential Decree

After Attorney Kwame Agyei-Poku wins the heart of a beautiful young British woman they marry and have a daughter together. With his position in the Ministry of Justice Kwame and his family live in a large manor with servants-a far cry from his childhood living conditions a life he has kept well hidden from his wife and daughter. He has never introduce them to his family. In fact he has not seen his father in thirty years since that fateful evening that changed everything.<br /><br />He was eleven when he ran away from his father's home after being accused of something he did not do. The ordeal caused him such anxiety heartache and loneliness that he never told his wife the true reason he did not want to return to his childhood village. Moreover from an experience he witnessed as a child he knows that marrying a foreigner is considered taboo in his father's house and he is worried about how they might receive her.<br /><br />But after years of pressure from his wife and daughter and with no excuses left Kwame agrees to take them to meet his long-lost family. As they take the long and arduous journey to his childhood village and spend time there Kwame must face not only his father and his father's family once again but also the past that haunts him. And never would the family of three have imagined all the surprises they would discover on their trip-ones that would shape their lives forever.
