Psycho-social and Cultural Factors Influencing Stress on Performance

This book studied explored and compared the effect of psychological and culture factors i.e. locus of control women social freedom comprehensive tension on stress. it further extended to study the effect of factors of stress i.e. frustration conflict pressure and anxiety on total stress among the female players of south west zone inter-varsity players of athletics weight lifting judo badminton swimming and table tennis age group ranged from 18-25 years. In all 300 subjects were selected at random 50 from each sport viz athletics weight lifting judo badminton swimming and table tennis. Reliable and validated tools used for testing were the Rotter''s locus of control scale by Dr. Anand Kumar and Dr. S.Shrivastav Women Social Freedom scale by L.S.Bhusan Comprehensive Scale of Tension by Rajivlochan Bhardwaj and Bist Baterry of Stress Scale by Abha Rani.
