The present research called Psychoeducational Program to Stimulate Motivation Towards Schoolwork in Tenth Year Students of the General Basic School José Ingenieros of the City of Loja 2017-2018 sets out as an objective: to design a psychoeducational program to stimulate motivation towards schoolwork in tenth year students of the General Basic School José Ingenieros. Descriptive study pre-experimental design cross-sectional and field study scientific analytical synthetic inductive deductive logical methods were used and as a technique a survey was applied in relation to the fulfillment of school tasks in a sample of 28 students. It is concluded that most of the students do not like to do homework because the teachers guide a very high number of tasks and this bores them; they do not explain well how to do them and they do not grade them; parents do not know what tasks their children should do every day and nobody helps them to do them at home; for this a psychoeducational program is proposed in order to stimulate motivation towards homework.
