PSYCHOSOCIAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE CONCEPT OF GENDER VIOLENCE.

It is true that violence affects both women and men at some point in their lives the impact of which varies according to various causes and factors directly influencing the construction of the relationships that adolescents establish in their environment. Recent studies show that adolescents still have an unclear concept of gender violence so this research reflects on this problem with the aim of describing the psychosocial conception of gender violence presented by 9th grade students of the Los Cañaris Educational Unit of Azogues in this case from the description of a focal sample.
