Public Attitude & Perception of Population Census among Rural Dwellers

Rural dwellers are unique when it comes to the issue of demographic characteristics and behavior towards national and global issues. Though rural dwellers may share some characteristics with the urban dwellers the uniqueness of the setting still reflect the cultural historical and socio-economic and political influence dominant among the group.This uniqueness of the rural dwellers is one of the factors which can question the success of population census anywhere in the world. However for more comprehensive understanding methodological triangulation is essential in collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in order to understand the main and strenuous variables among the rural population affecting their attitude and participation in census exercise.The above excerpt aptly described the body of this work.
