About the Author: Dr. Rommani Sen Shitak is currently working as an Assistant Professor at K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce Mumbai. She is a research guide for Ph.D. in the subject ‘Communication and Journalism at the University of Mumbai. Her research interests include social media and disinformation data privacy and public service broadcasting. She completed her Masterss from Tata Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai and earned her Doctorate degree from Panjab University Chandigarh. She has also worked with the National Institute of Urban Affairs New Delhi and Lumiere Business Solutions Mumbai.
