Public Service Delivery: Role of Union Digital Centre

My write up is to introduce the role of Union Digital Centre which are established for delivery public service to the grassroots people in Bangladesh. More than 4545 digital centre has been set up in the union level (lowest tier of locsl government ) to provide all sorts of government /public services to the rural people who are deprived of getting such services due to coststime and corruption . Pesent government took the initiative since 2009 with the help of UNDP. Now Bangladesh government is running this project named A2I under prime minister''s office. For the purpose of providing public servicesgovernment has already initiated ICT in all level of government offices. All ministries are now under the coverage of ICT. All forms government services are providing through ICT. So in this regard UDC is playing vital role of desseminiting public services to the local level people in Bangladesh.
