About The Book

<p>  <strong><em>Puerto Rican Cooking for Beginners</em></strong> was written to introduce the world to some of the undiscovered foods of <em>Puerto Rican Cuisine</em> and the history behind the recipes and introduce the fantastic flavors of the island. I studied Savory cooking and French pastries. I chose a few of my favorite dishes desserts and native drinks. </p><p><br></p><p>I was lucky to be invited to the Bobby Flay Annual BBQ events in Chicago while starting my business. I met many international chefs and learned about cuisines from around the world.  It opened my mind to researching traditional recipes of my home and the history behind their creation.</p><p><br></p><p>Buen Provecho!</p><p><br></p><p>Chef Didi</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>I have been cooking and baking for couples since my military days. I have always believed in my calling to be a great cook and baker and teach others how to bring out their inner chef. </p>
