<p><span style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)>Pulmonary hypertension is a major global health problem affecting an estimated 1% of the world's population and is thought to be associated with a variety of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Regardless of the underlying disease pulmonary hypertension is associated with worsening symptoms and increased mortality. However substantial advances have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension over the past decade.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)>This Special Issue (SI) of the </span><em style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)>Journal of Clinical Medicine</em><span style=color: rgba(23 43 77 1)> entitled Pulmonary Hypertension: Recent Advances in Diagnosis and Treatment publishes review articles and original research related to the latest advances in surgical and medical treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
