Pulpal therapy in primary dentition

Endodontic treatment of primary teeth helps their existence in the dental arch until the period of the physiological exchange. The method of pulpectomy as a radical approach ensures a greater longevity of the tooth in the mouth. Besides the traditional paste of Zinc Oxide Eugenole there were used three other pastes: Kri Metapex and Endoflas for filling the canals of primary teeth.The most succesful paste and the one with less complications of near or far resulted to be Endoflas. Endoflas consists of all the elements and ingredients ( ZnO Ca(OH)2 Jodoform ) of other pastes. This paste best fulfilled the requirements thatthe materials used for the filling of the root canals of primary teeth must meet.
