Laura was a beautiful young woman who had it all: a loving and devoted husband two children who she constantly doted over and a life abundant with loving family and endless friends. She was a talented artist and singer-songwriter and the kind of person that everybody wanted to know. Yet her life was anything but a normal one: Laura was also a juvenile diabetic. Through years of suffering from complications of the ruthless disease which included 56 surgeries packed into just 14 years of her short life she taught everyone around her how to love more fully to give more freely and to have the faith to endure even the most difficult of life's trials. Her story written here from her husband's first-hand perspective is one of courage and faith of love and loss and ultimately of letting go.
