Jill is a 15 year old girl at a boarding school who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young man she meets on the beach Richard. This chance meeting opens up a whole new world to her and a ready- made group of friends. Addicted to the excitement and desperate to relieve the boredom and loneliness in her life she latches onto this motley band of misfits and charges headlong into a world of parties drugs and violence. Clinging to the friends she makes like a long lost family she journeys from a naïve teenager to a battle hardened adult in a short space of time shaped by experiences of young love dangerous situations and drug abuse.
