PurposeNet

An extensive work on the use of knowledgebases for semantic analysis. The book introduces the usefulness of a knowlegdebase in reasoning. The design and development of a generic architecture for artifact knowledgebase is described lucidly. The implementation of the same on a sample domain - transport is explained. The evaluation of the created knowledgebase is done using several currently popular metrics. Automatic means for extraction and population of the relations defined are also discussed in detail. The book showcases the usefulness of PurposeNet by comparing results of some existing NLP applications with and without PurposeNet.
