Good Day readers this is a Poetry Book in Marathi language.It is a collection of Poems and Essays both long and short & it celebrates life and womanhood. The subjects are varied and include nature society family age friendshipsreligion community occasions good times struggles etc. Many poems are instant poems on subjects requested by friends and neighbours. The vocabulary is very simple and comforting. Poems reflect not only the humble genial personality of author but also stark reality of humans’ treatment of each other and nature. The readers should enjoy the humour and excuse tragic lines. Book published as memorium to author and contains lifetime work.Author has found personal solace by writing & sincerely wishes that readers also feel the same after reading it.Any resemblance to person or place is coincidence inconvenience caused if any is regretted. Heartfelt thanks to the readers for their valuable time. Happy reading Pushpa Jagtap (1940-2024) was born in a big marathi joint family. The family was protective but not conservative and allowed girls to get educated. Author took complete formal education in marathi but surprisingly was fluent in Hindi and English also. Author’s family ware evacuees of a Dam project in lieu of which they had received agriculture lands and a big chunk of land in city area. The relocation to city opened many oppurtunities. The family members indulged in agriculture trading brokerage moneylending & other services.Some in family were Doctors and lawyers also. Author’s father was a feedom fighter and had to go to jail many times during feedom struggle he passed away at young age. Author’s mother was a homemaker and managed to keep flock together. At coming of age Author married an engineer who later on became a successful contractor. Soon after marriage author and her husband came to Delhi and settled there. In 1985 author’s family moved into Anandvan Society. The congenial residents and atmosphere of this society awakened the poet in her. She penned her thoughts and also made instant poems when friends requested her with any subjects of their choice .Her poems glorified womanhood family and religion. Gradually her poems were appreciated awarded and published in magazinessouveneirs kavi sammelans. Author is fondly remembered as a humble & genial person by one and all. Author is grateful to goddess Saraswati and all those who patiently heard & appreciated her poems
