Qualitative Organic Analysis and Preparation of Organic Compounds

The qualitative organic analysis and preparation of organic compounds practicals were discussed in this book and it is useful to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry. The first chapter of this book focuses on safety rules symbols and first aid in chemistry laboratories. Qualitative organic analysis which includes preliminary examination detection of special elements - nitrogen sulfur and halogens aromatic and aliphatic nature tests for saturation and unsaturation identification of functional groups using solubility tests and confirmation of functional groups was discussed in the second chapter. The preparation of organic compounds and separation and purification techniques were deliberated concisely in the third and fourth chapters.
