Quality control of antifungal herbal capsules: comparative evaluation

This book elaborates about various quality control parameters (physiochemical properties) as well as biological screening of antifungal drug preparations. The simple test procedure (physiochemical parameters) to ensure the quality of herbal drugs or based preparation is still a challenge. The extracts of marketed capsules were tested for phytochemical quality control parameters as well as for their antifungal activity. Therefore present work is an attempt in this direction so that researchers working in areas of pharmaceutical sector particularly in herbal drug industry can adopt simple test procedure to ensure quality of the product effectively.
